It all depends on the right adhesive: Adhesive Plasticrepair Plast Bond PETEC 2 X 50 ml.
Fast-curing 2-component adhesive for repairing and bonding plastics. Range of application: for repairing bumpers, spoilers, radiator grilles, trim clips, brackets (e.g. headlights) and broken plastic parts and trim. Also for bonding and filling holes, cracks and joints of metal, wood, stone, concrete & glass.
Directions for use:
Working temperature: +5°C to +30°C. Sand surface if possible, clean thoroughly with a multi cleaner and degrease. Remove cap, squeeze out and mix required amount of adhesive or put on mixing tube, discard the first centimeter (avoid pauses of more than one minute, as adhesive also cures in the mixing tube) and apply to one side of the bonded area. Join materials to be bonded within one minute. After use, close double syringe with cap. Due to the large number of applications, materials and other influencing factors, self-testing and suitability testing is required. Reworking (e.g. grinding, painting) is only possible after the adhesive has cured. Solvent-based paints and other media may block or destroy the curing process. To ensure the suitability of the product for the desired application, self-tests are recommended in all cases.
