JMP Ignition System Tester is a useful and inexpensive tool to test the ignition voltage and ignition function.
The spark tester from the manufacturer JMP is a cheap tool. The tools are made of high quality materials and offer a good comfort, as well as an inexpensive and good quality.

Application:
- Pull off the spark plug connector and plug it onto the ignition spark tester. If necessary, the adapter can be unscrewed and
screwed on.
- Secure alligator clip to ground.
- Set the screw to about 10mm (an intact ignition system should skip the spark gap of about 15mm).
- Make sure that the spark tester can not get close to the ground.
- The engine can be started.
Important:
- For multi-cylinder engines, the remaining spark plugs must be grounded.
(otherwise leads to damage to ignition parts).
- If spark plugs are removed, please note that an explosive mixture could escape through the candle openings.
- The adjustment of the spark gap via the screw may only be carried out with the ignition switched off.
- When the ignition is switched on, neither the ignition system nor the ignition tester may be touched.
