PETEC Radiator Seal is suitable for water-cooling circuit systems of gasoline and diesel engines on cars, trucks, boats, tractors and many more. Permanently seals the water-cooling circuit system in case of leaks, cracks, hairline cracks (e.g. radiator, engine block, cylinder head and metallic gaskets) and seepage points. Also suitable for leaks (defective cylinder head gaskets) and hairline cracks on hose connections, metal and plastic parts in the cooling system. Even in the smallest channels in the cooling system, Kühlerdicht does not cause blockages.

Application:

1. Let the engine cool down and screw on the cap of the radiator system.
2. Shake radiator seal well before use.
3. Unscrew cap and pull off membrane.
4. 250 ml of radiator sealant is sufficient for approx. 12-15 liters of coolant.
5. Depending on the vehicle, radiator sealant must be dosed to the total quantity of the cooling system circuit.
6. Open the heating valves! Radiator sealant is added via the radiator expansion tank while the engine is running to ensure that the agent is distributed evenly in the cooling system circuit and can settle at the points to be sealed (leaks).
7. Close the cap.
8. A test drive of 5 km or 10 minutes at a standstill ensures that radiator sealant is evenly distributed in the cooling system circuit.
9. If the dosage is correct, no incompatibilities are known.
10. Caution: Radiator sealant must not be used if dirt screens are present in the cooling system.
