The basic requirement for a smooth ride is a clean fuel. This passes through the fuel pump directly into the injection system or in the carburetor. The dirt particles present in the fuel lead to increased wear, especially in modern injection systems. Also, the water bound in the fuel can cause significant damage due to corrosion. In the worst case, a total failure of the fuel injection and thus the stoppage of the vehicle is the result. Tasks of the SCT fuel filter: 1) SCT fuel filters are used for the operational safety of engines 2) reliably protect the extremely sensitive injection units and carburettors 3) free the fuel from unwanted dirt particles that cause wear 4) protect against corrosion damage to the injection system To perform all the tasks reliably To meet, filters with high fineness and very good product quality are required. This goes without saying for the SCT filters. Use of SCT fuel filters in fuel filter systems The injection systems of modern diesel engines are much more sensitive than their predecessors. This places new, high demands on fuel filtration. SCT-Vertriebs GmbH offers tailor-made fuel filter systems which, in addition to filtration with integrated additional functions such as sensors and control or water separation, take on all the tasks of fuel management. SCT fuel filters offer the following advantages: 1) extended service intervals 2) ease of maintenance through easy element replacement 3) reliable water separation SCT fuel filter elements Fuel filter elements are housed in a separate housing integrated into the engine. When changing the filter, only the filter element is replaced. For diesel fuel, the medium allows almost complete separation of water. This avoids corrosion damage to the injection system. SCT spin-on fuel filter Exchangeable filters form a unit of housing and filter element. They are replaced during maintenance as a whole. Replacement filters for diesel filtration in passenger cars and commercial vehicles are available in the classic standard construction and in various special designs. Modern high-pressure injection systems use pressure-enhanced fuel-cell filters.
