Prestolith® Rust Converter 603079. This rust remediation system forms a metallic-organic iron complex with the neutralized rust layer. As a primer on surfaces affected by rust, it forms the basis for durable paint finishes. Excellent for the restoration of vehicles, machinery and equipment of all kinds.

Always carefully read and observe the caution texts before use!

Application

1. Remove loose rust, grease, dirt and paint residues infiltrated with rust, brush off if necessary.
2. Shake the bottle well before use.
3. Depending on the degree of rust, apply 2 - 3 coats.
4. Recoatable with air-drying paint systems after approx. 6 - 8 hours, depending on the outside temperature.

• Density at 20°C: 1.02 ± 0.05 g/cm³.
• Viscosity at 20°C: 10-16 sec. in Ford cup No. 4.

• Drying (at 20°C, 50% relative humidity):
• Can be recoated after 6 - 8 hours air drying at the earliest.
